In a world of single protagonist against whole world, world of cultivation is breath of fresh air. It has a great world building, an amazing first half but unfortunately it's followed by a rushed 2nd half. Still world of cultivation is a good read which sets apart from the other novels in cultivation genre, if you like good world building, an greedy Mc and a bunch of cool pets please give this novel a chance.

One of the best cultivation novels i have read. I really love this novel in all its aspects: world building, characters, cultivation systems, goofy comedic scenes, some emotional scenes and even the small romance (which i would have loved to see more) of the MC. I really like the different cultivation systems in the novel and how they evolve and interconnect during the MC's journey. The pacing of the novel is very good with no useless fillers. There is a small bit of plot armors but they don't affect the story. The MC is very funny and his shenanigans with his conscience "tenant" are lovely. The is some translation errors here and there and some chapters are jumbled up which causes confusion. The only downside is the rushed ending. The author explained that his ending included the last battle and its build up, but i still think that it leaves us wanting a lot more. May be some after stories would have made it perfect. I want more of the MC and his companions stories after the last big fight. It is a solid 4. 7 for me. If not for the fast ending, it would have been a 5.

Although this might be a difficult book for those who have just stepped into the world of Xianxia/wuxia novels, for me it was an extremely enjoyable and fun book to read, with lots of detail and humor. One of my favorite books I've read recently, so I highly recommend.

The story was a lot of fun and developed at a good pace. Some of the chapters are out of order so you can get confused. great read though, really enjoyed it.

Why does it feel like each chapter is not connected to the previous one!?!?!!???!?!?!?!!?!?!???!?!?!?!?!?!?!???!!!?? It so confusing!!!!!!? J

world of cultivation is one of the best Chinese novels ever although the writing may seem too Chinese but if you continue to read it you get uses to so you should give it a try
